About ADD Self-Management Center
The ADHD Self-Management Center Online draws from the knowledge base of the Tarnow Center for Self-ManagementSM, owned and directed by Dr. Jay Tarnow, board certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. This multi-disciplinary clinic, located in Houston, Texas, specializes in ADHD, Learning Disorders, and related issues.
Recently, Dr. Tarnow has teamed up with his daughter, Myah Tarnow Gittelson, Psy.D, a certified Cogmed Coach, to offer a new form of non-medication treatment for ADHD children. What makes this team so powerful is the fact that they both have successfully dealt with these very same problems to some degree in their own lives.
Dr. Tarnow and the clinicians at the Tarnow Center collaborated to create the proprietary Self–Management Treatment Program, an extremely successful pragmatic program that develops long-term coping skills for leading a successful life…in spite of having ADHD difficulties.
