Andrew Johnson, M.D.

Andrew Johnson is a native of Fort Worth who attended Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He completed his medical education at the University of Texas Medical School - Houston, where he also completed his residency. While attending UT, he was an active member serving on several school committees such as the Psychiatry Residency Recruitment Committee, Coding, and Pharmacy Committee. Dr. Johnson is trained in adult psychiatry and evaluates adults with emotional and behavioral disturbances. He has extensive experience and particular interest in treating patients with addiction and providing medication management when necessary. Additionally, he is involved in clinical trials as a Clinical Research Sub-Investigator.
Over the years, Dr. Johnson has been a member of the Harris County Medical Society as well as the Texas Medical Association. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School where he is involved in educating both medical students as well as psychiatry residents.
