Elaine Frankel, L.M.S.W., A.C.P.-P.R., is a Certified Psychotherapist, Psychoanalyst, and an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Social Work. Before joining the Tarnow Center for Self-Management, Ms. Frankel spent ten years in private practice in New York City.
Her specialty in individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults is psychoanalytically oriented. She has supervised other professionals in the theory and practice of psychotherapy. Ms. Frankel is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine.
Additionally, she was a lecturer with Children Cope, an organization developed to assist parents in helping their children adjust to the changes resulting from divorce.
Ms. Frankel is a member of Resolve, a national organization serving the needs of infertile people; Infertility Network, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Her special interests include: Secondary Infertility, Infertility and its Effect on the Relationship, and Older Women Attempting Pregnancy.
